Dennis Chien is Head of Solution Strategy at Talosix, an AI technology driven clinical research startup in Seattle. Dennis is a 16-year veteran of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices having held key roles in both Marketing and R&D. Chien has created and launched products across a broad range of Medical Devices including implants, diagnostics, and digital solutions. He is also on the Board of Directors for Helpful Engineering, a group of 19,000 technical and engineer volunteers committed to delivering open source solutions everywhere.

Chien earned his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. An innovator with 23 US patents to his name, Chien commits time locally at Fix-it Cafés on Vashon Island, Washington where he and the team fix broken items, educate the community, and prevent tons of landfill.
