Healthcare Technology

With decades of experience in medical device/enterprise IT development and health care technologies, DeMur started her career in the operating rooms of two Boston teaching hospitals. She then spent 15 years in product development for a medical equipment technology company in a variety of roles including head of research and development. DeMur joins JHTV coming from GE Healthcare where she held a commercial role for cardio-vascular IT.

With 25 years of experience in research, commercialization and intellectual property, Ho joined JHTV at the end of 2019. In his last position as Vice President, Chief Business Officer for La Jolla Institute for Immunology (San Diego), he transformed the Institute into a powerhouse for commercialization. In 11 years, Ho championed five drug programs that entered into clinical development, broadened the longest-standing corporate alliance between academia and industry and spear-headed expansion of research programs with the success of commercialization. His focus at JHTV is on therapeutics including diagnostics and platform technologies.

A serial entrepreneur and technology executive with two decades of experience with startups as a founder, CEO and advisor. Komisky has successfully positioned startups to raise nearly $10 million in capital during global economic downturns and has raised over $30 million in early-stage funding. At JHTV, he focuses on engineering and non-life-science technologies including software, artificial intelligence (AI), materials and energy.
