Brian Lipford recently retired as one of the founders of Key Technologies, which is located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. Key Tech has been developing and creating new products for the past 25 years using their multi-disciplinary staff of over 70 engineers, scientists and designers, primarily in the field of medical devices and therapies. Lipford helped grow the company, as well as guide, direct and commercialize a host of new products. He raised over $25MM to support the development and commercialization of new internal products at Key Tech. Lipford received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, a master’s in business from the Loyola School of Business, and held a professional engineering license for over 30 years.
