From Discovery to Clinic: A Chemist’s Guide to Drug Development
The path from promising compound to clinic-ready drug candidate is long and complex. In this session, Tim Dore brings a chemist’s perspective to the full arc of drug development — from early hit identification and lead optimization through development candidate selection, IND-enabling studies, and post-market surveillance. Whether you are a researcher exploring translational pathways or a founder building a therapeutic program, this session offers a grounded, practical look at one of the most complex journeys in science.
