United Way of Central Maryland’s Changemaker Challenge aims to spark social innovation to address challenges facing our communities. Through the Changemaker Challenge, finalists will pitch innovative programs that benefit the residents of our region.
Finalists will receive group and 1:1 coaching and mentorship, professionally edited pitch videos, and promotion through United Way of Central Maryland’s networks and owned platforms and earned media. Selection, coaching, filming, pitching, and awards will be throughout Fall 2021.
We invite individuals and nonprofit organizations to submit their best ideas that are focused on sustainable actions and aimed at helping residents and communities recover from the pandemic and tackling the inequities it exposed.
Applicants are broken into the following categories: Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County, and Howard County.
Finalists will be eligible for grants ranging from $5,000 – $25,000.
