The FastForward team recently welcomed associate director, Melissa Stundick, Ph.D. With 18 years of experience in consulting, government, and biotech, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role, focusing on managing existing startups in our portfolio and supporting the development of new companies by providing guidance and support throughout their growth. She held executive positions at Spero Therapeutics and AlloVir, where she was responsible for business development and alliance management. In the public sector, Stundick advanced novel therapeutics at Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). She started her career as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she provided scientific advisory services for Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security clients in biological and chemical threat medical countermeasures.
