About the Speaker:
Brian Bordley is a startup operator turned venture capitalist. He has spent time in business roles at various startups (TechValidate, Marqeta, Remeeting), including time as a founder of a 3D printing company, Eucl3D, that went through Berkeley SkyDeck Accelerator in 2015. He is currently a Principal with Berkeley SkyDeck Fund, an active early stage fund invests in startups affiliated with the 10 UC campuses and the partner investment firm of Berkeley SkyDeck. Berkeley SkyDeck Fund has backed dozens of founders out of the UC campuses and helped them both go to market and raise additional capital from institutional VCs.
He will share details on funding opportunities for founders from UCLA – affiliated founders as well as advice on key milestones/objectives to hit to fundraise.
