Through this inaugural event, Maryland Tech Council (MTC) will convene organizations (companies, academic institutions and nonprofit entities) within the tech and life sciences industries for action-oriented presentations, discussions and activities designed to advance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within these industries. Join us for an interactive afternoon to explore DEI strategies, best practices and tools and connect with other individuals and organizations committed to developing more diverse, equitable and inclusive businesses, communities, opportunities and solutions. We’re intentionally including DEI thought leaders and experienced DEI executives to be part of this event to help facilitate conversations, spark ideas and serve as DEI resources for attendees. Whether your organization is committed to DEI but needs help getting started, has already embarked on its journey to DEI and could use ideas for advancing your efforts or wants to gain a better understanding of the value of ensuring DEI within your organization, all are welcome to join us for this idea- and action-packed event.
