Nucleate, a student-led non-profit organization, is dedicated to empowering early-stage life-science startups and emerging biotech leaders. Nucleate Baltimore is delighted to host a pitch showcase for the Activator 2022-23 cohort, featuring talented teams from major regional biomedical institutions. These trailblazers are presenting groundbreaking work in platform discoveries, diagnostics, and therapeutics.

  • Caleo Biotechnologies: Developing organoid models for high-throughput screening to profile PBD phenotypes.
  • CICS Analytics: Utilizing spectroscopic technique for quantitative characterization of therapeutic nanoparticles.
  • CurveAssure: Revolutionizing spinal care treatment with non-invasive technology and at-home assessments.
  • Sclerix Surgical: Introducing a minimally invasive robotic surgery method for delivering biologics to treat retinal degenerative diseases.
  • 4D Genomics: Implementing low-cell methods to map 3D genome architecture and identify gene therapy targets, while facilitating in-vivo examination of biological processes.

We are pleased to announce that Doug Falk, the CEO of Vita Therapeutics, will be joining us as the keynote speaker, discussing his experience as the founder of a Series B biotech company and sharing practical insights on navigating challenges and capitalizing on opportunities in the life science industry.

Our esteemed judges panel includes representatives from Catalent Pharma Solutions, Epidarex Capital, and Catalio Capital Management.
