Virtual and In-Person
The Municipal Acquisitions Student Venture Showcase (MASVS), hosted by the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, is the capstone entrepreneurship competition of the 2021-2022 school year for the Johns Hopkins entrepreneurial community. The competition is an unparalleled opportunity to learn from successful venture capitalists, network with inspired entrepreneurs and participate in or view a high-stakes short-format competition, complete with a cash prize for the champion team.
Showcase will be hosted virtually and in-person at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School (100 International Drive Baltimore, MD 21202)
EVENT SCHEDULE:
- Startups will pitch to VC judges from 1:30-3:30 pm, prior to the audience joining.
- Audience will arrive (or log in to zoom) at 3:30 pm and view “lightning pitches” while the judges are deliberating.
- Audience provides feedback and votes for their favorite. (One team will receive the “Audience Choice” award.)
- Judges will select a winner to receive the grand prize of $25,000
