Hosted by the Center for Leadership Education, HopStart: Hopkins New Venture Challenge connects competitors with mentors who guide them through the process of writing a business plan and provides them the opportunity to pitch their new ventures to industry leaders and win up to $5,000 in prize money to take those ventures to the next level.

Compete in one of three categories: General Ventures, Medical Technology and Life Science Ventures, or Sustainability Ventures.

In Stage 1, teams submit their written business plans and receive feedback from mentors over two rounds of competition (Feb. 17 – April 14). In Stage 2, teams pitch their ventures live to judges over two rounds of competition for the chance to win up to $5,000 in prize money (April 28).

Registration closes Feb. 13.
