Emily is the Hub Lead at Healthworx, the innovation and investment arm of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. She also co-manages 1501 Health, an incubation and investment program in partnership with LifeBridge Health, which supports early-stage healthcare companies with expertise from the payer and provider perspectives. She will discuss her role in supporting companies that promote healthcare quality, accessibility, affordability, and equity, and her learnings for the broader early-stage health ecosystem.
