Student entrepreneurs are invited to FastForward U’s virtual seminar led by Ricky Venters about navigating customer discovery when creating a startup.
About Ricky Venters
Serving as the Program Manager of FastForward, Ricky oversees the Mentors-in-Residence program and the National Science Foundation I-Corps Program at Johns Hopkins, as well as other education programming and human capital management initiatives. Prior to joining FastForward, Ricky was the program manager for Johns Hopkins’ HopkinsLocal program, partnering with businesses to support Baltimore residents and women- or minority-owned businesses. Venters worked with engineering, construction and law firms, among other businesses, to develop a course on business development for young companies. Ricky serves as a small business coach for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Baltimore, assisting entrepreneurs on investor pitch presentations.
