he Draper Competition for Collegiate Women Entrepreneurs is an on-ramp for undergraduate women seeking access to entrepreneurship opportunities, capital and networks. Since 2013, the competition has developed nearly 500 startup founders as innovators and entrepreneurs. The Draper Competition is the only event of its type that focuses exclusively on developing the talent of collegiate female founders. After three years of virtual competitions, the competition is returning to its in-person glory in April 2023. ELIGIBILITY
A startup/venture/team must meet all the eligibility requirements to be eligible to compete. Please make sure that you meet the following criteria before applying:
- The competition is for new, independent ventures in the seed, start-up, or early growth stages.
- An existing business is eligible only if it has received less than $25,000 in funding as of 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2022.
- An existing business is eligible only if it has earned less than $100,000 in gross revenue as of 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2022.
- Ventures need to have a revenue-generating business model. 501(c)s are not eligible for participation.
