emocha Mobile Health was founded in 2014 based on a mobile health platform licensed Johns Hopkins technology. The platform has become a turnkey service that assists health care providers improve medication adherence for patients around the globe.

In March 2020, the company rapidly adapted its mobile technology and is now helping health systems remotely monitor health care workers who have been exposed to COVID-19. The company is now working with Johns Hopkins Medicine, LifeBridge Health, and other hospitals to identify, track and manage symptoms of workers through video check-ins.
