The purpose of this form is to provide a pathway for JHU PIs to submit research proposals which may be of interest for corporate / industry funding. Proposals will be reviewed by JHTV staff with experience in corporate partnership and commercialization, who will then reach out with questions, feedback, and if applicable, ideas on prospective funding opportunities.
PLEASE NOTE
- There is no guarantee of corporate/industry funding for proposal submissions. This form is intended to serve as a mechanism to help JHU PIs diversify their funding sources in the context of current challenges associated with federal funding, and should be considered as a ‘first step’ towards potentially securing industry funding opportunities.
- Please only submit non-confidential information. Initial submissions will only be reviewed by JHTV staff, but promising submissions can / will (with PI permission) be shared with corporate contacts and prospective funders, who typically prefer to conduct early-stage conversations non-confidentially. If discussions progress to an advanced level, JHTV can subsequently assist in providing confidentiality provisions (e.g. mutual NDA).
