Application
Equalize is a pitch competition designed to take national action around the disparity of women academic inventors forming university startups.
Applications for the 2022 virtual mentor program and in-person event (to be held in St. Louis, Missouri on June 30, 2022) are due November 10, 2021.
Please note before applying: Equalize pitchers must hold an academic appointment (tenured/tenure track) at a research university. Postdocs and PhD students are not eligible to apply.
- Product concept no more than 4 years from IND or product launch
- No formal incorporation required. However, if a startup has been formed, the company should not have raised more than $1M USD.
- Ability to attend at least one, 1-hour Zoom meeting per month January — June 2021
