Nindhana Paranthaman is currently Principal Medical Director within US Medical Affairs Oncology at Genentech leading the thoracic and dermatologic oncology portfolios. She has worked with Amgen previously as Associate Medical Director and led development of global medical strategy for novel lung cancer therapies. Prior to Amgen, Nindhana spent 4 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb in roles of increasing responsibility across the US Medical Affairs organization in the immunology and oncology therapeutic areas. She also has 3 years of prior work experience across the healthcare ecosystem providing healthcare services and consulting for top-ranked health systems and nonprofit foundations in developed and emerging markets.
Nindhana is a physician and received her medical degree from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in India. She graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a Global MBA and specialized in healthcare management & marketing. During her time at Hopkins, she was involved with JHTV through the flagship GMBA Discovery to project program. The project entailed assessing the commercial feasibility of a novel nano-oncology therapy for glioblastoma in collaboration with Dr. Jordan Green and Dr. Alfredo Quinones-Hinojosa. Nindhana is passionate about improving diversity in clinical trials and also volunteers time training medical professionals in developing countries on emerging trends in the oncology landscape.
