Manik co-founded Healthify in 2013 while working as a community health worker in East Baltimore. He saw how social needs – like access to food and housing – dramatically impacted health outcomes in the community and was moved to create Healthify. Manik scaled Healthify past a Series B company and eventually sold Healthify to WellSky in 2021 producing a strong return for investors.

Manik is a thought leader in the social determinants space, a sought-after speaker, and an advocate for addressing the social determinants of health through equitable and collaborative partnerships between healthcare and social service organizations. Manik was a member of the Accountable Health Communities panel and was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list. He has been featured in numerous media outlets including National Public Radio and Inc. Magazine. Manik received his BS from Johns Hopkins University.
