Established through a generous multi-year gift from the Bisciotti Foundation, the Bisciotti Foundation Translational Fund provides $300,000 seed funding to advance discoveries on a commercial path at Johns Hopkins each year. Recipients are awarded $25,000 to $100,000 to conduct work over a period of up to nine months.

Length of Project: Up to nine months

Application Deadline: Annually on October 15th

Eligibility:

  1. Your technology must be formally disclosed to the Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures office and assigned a case number (e.g. C12345). Report an invention here.
  2. The invention must not be subject to any preexisting exclusive licenses, non-exclusive licenses, or options.
  3. At least one investigator must be a faculty, post-doctoral fellow or graduate student at Johns Hopkins University.
